Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TrainerCycle, a training app provided by Stars and Stiles Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number: [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office: [REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

The service

TrainerCycle provides structured cycling and strength training tools, including a workout builder, live Bluetooth trainer control, training plans, and ride history. Access to most features requires an active paid subscription.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, at the price shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled.
You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
We don't offer pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods.

Your right to cancel: under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital service for a full refund. By subscribing and choosing to access the service immediately, you expressly agree that this service begins right away, and you acknowledge and accept that you lose the 14-day cancellation right once you've started using it — in exchange, you can still cancel your ongoing subscription at any time as described above, effective at the end of the current period.

Your account

Your account is personal to you — please don't share access or resell it.
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Health and safety

TrainerCycle is a training tool, not medical advice. Consult a doctor or qualified professional before starting any new exercise programme, especially if you have an existing injury or health condition. Any strength routine described as supporting rehabilitation (such as the Knee & Hip Support session) is general guidance only, not a substitute for professional physiotherapy — stop immediately if something causes pain, and follow your own physio or doctor's advice over anything in the app.

You use connected equipment (trainers, heart rate straps, and any other Bluetooth devices) at your own risk. We aren't responsible for the performance, safety, or condition of your own hardware.

Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties (Google for sign-in, Stripe for payment, Strava if you choose to connect it). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the subscription fees you've paid in the 12 months before a claim. We're not liable for indirect losses, or for issues arising from your own equipment or third-party services.

Intellectual property

The TrainerCycle app, its design, and its content belong to Stars and Stiles Ltd. The training and ride data you create remains yours — you can export it (TCX, CSV) or ask us to delete it at any time.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally; if we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
